Frontend Developer
We are working on the integration of cutting-edge artificial Intelligence with flying robots. One of our goals is to provide a simple, intuitive and game-like User Interface (UI) for controlling real robotic systems. The UI should be intuitive and simple, but flexible enough to provide the ability to operate robots safely, even for non-technical users.
You will be working on things including semi-real time visualization of state of the robot, visualization of real-time videostream, 2.5D and 3D visualization of environment, and interactions with AI models.
How we imagine the ideal colleague:
- Frontend development: React, TypeScript, CSS (SCSS)
- Backend development (ideally Python) is a considerable advantage
- Unit testing
Considered a plus:
- 3D graphics in WebGL (and similar)
Responsibilities:
- Develop frontend for a drone ground station
- Real-time visualization of telemetry
- 2D/3D map showing terrain, drones, POIs
- Multiple live video feeds of onboard camera from drone(s)
- UI for path planning, drone control, and more
- Maintaining backend APIs for communication with frontend UI (Python/REST/WebSocket)
- Understand how UI works, know what’s missing and how to improve it
