LLM/Foundation Model Specialist
We are building the future of autonomous swarms
GoodAI Swarms is developing Prometheus – an autonomous drone swarm system with onboard AI agents that understand natural language, perceive environments intelligently, and collaborate to solve complex tasks in GPS-denied environments. We are seeking an exceptional LLM/Foundation Model Specialist to join our team and lead the integration of advanced AI capabilities into our drone swarm platform.
Example of our previous work:
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the AI agent architecture that powers our autonomous drone swarms, from agent design to edge deployment. This is a hands-on position requiring both practical implementation skills and innovative thinking to solve challenging problems in embodied AI, particularly in GPS-denied navigation and swarm coordination scenarios.
While this position is based at our headquarters in Prague, we offer the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience building functional agentic AI systems powered by LLMs (portfolio of completed projects required)
- Proven experience deploying and optimizing LLMs on edge hardware (Jetson, mobile devices, etc.)
- Proven experience with model modification and enhancement beyond basic fine-tuning (architecture modifications, multimodal integration, etc.)
- Strong programming skills with Python and relevant ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG systems, and agentic frameworks
- Working knowledge of spatial AI, computer vision, and VLM (Vision-Language Models)
- Excellent problem-solving and independent working style
- Advanced English communication skills
- Results-oriented approach with focus on practical implementation
- Passionate about AI agents and autonomous systems
Considered as plus:
- Experience with robotics foundation models and embodied AI (such as Pi0, RT-1/2, PaLM-E, Gato, Mobile ALOHA, SayCan, Gemini Robotics, or similar Vision-Language-Action architectures)
- Experience with flight control systems or drone hardware
- Knowledge of multi-agent communication and coordination
- Background in reinforcement learning or imitation learning
- Familiarity with SLAM, computer vision, or spatial computing
- Experience with real-time inference optimization
- Open-source contributions to LLM or robotics projects
- Interest in AI alignment and safety
- Understanding of 3D point cloud processing
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of our LLM-powered agent system for autonomous drones
- Design and optimize the AI agent framework that controls drone behaviors
- Implement and test various foundation models for drone perception and decision-making
- Develop efficient deployment of LLMs on resource-constrained edge hardware
- Create and enhance model architectures for spatial understanding and reasoning in GPS-denied environments
- Build robust communication protocols for inter-drone agent coordination
- Evaluate and document model capabilities and limitations with reliability metrics
We offer:
- International team at the cutting edge of autonomous systems
- A friendly environment without a corporate approach
- Work on a revolutionary autonomous drone swarm platform
- Incentive system benefits – bonuses
- Modern and comfortable offices in Prague (Orangeria – https://oranzerie.cz/) with coffee, tea, healthy snacks, and much more!
- Unlimited home office
- Possibility of (fully) remote cooperation, or a relocation package
- 5 weeks of vacation
- Unlimited sick days
- Company breakfasts and other company events (BBQ, parties, workshops,…)
- Dedicated time for studying
What the selection process will look like:
- Collecting all documents and completing the entry form
- Portfolio evaluation (we need to see your actual projects, not just your CV)
- Screening and evaluating all received documents
- Technical assessment (practical demonstration of relevant skills)
- Task evaluation
- Interview with the Team Leader and HR
- Interview with Team Leader, Technical Director, and HR
- Reference Check
- Discussion with Coach & Development Specialist
- Job offer
If you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of practical AI implementation in autonomous systems and want to lead the development of next-generation drone intelligence, we want to hear from you.
Important Note: This role requires a self-directed individual who can take ownership of the AI agent implementation with minimal supervision. You will be given product requirements and technical constraints, but it will be your responsibility to determine the best approach for implementation and delivery.
