Senior Community Manager & Support Specialist for video games

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager who will manage player relations and support activities for GoodAI, with main focus on the soon to be announced “AI Game.”

  • Manage and grow the player community:

    • Set up and manage community channels (Discord, Steam, Email, Forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

    • Prioritize and report issues and feedback to the dev team

    • Communicate with players and address their concerns and issues

    • Monitor all social media

    • Prepare reports and outcomes of the trends, issues, comments, etc.

  • Attend dev team meetings (sprint planning, review, retrospective, standups) to gain a precise understanding of the game mechanics and future dev pipeline

  • Communication strategy – implementing and following the rules

  • Promoting the studio and game(s)

  • Evaluating and reporting key metrics

  • Managing other volunteers´community managers and communities, recruiting within these communities, keeping our interlock alive with these communities, organizing contests, etc.

Performance measure

  • Quarterly goals

    • Launch official community and social media channels for the AI Game

    • Oversee the creation of the AI Game website and its updates

    • Manage player expectations 

    • Daily coverage of all social media. This includes: Steam (store page + forum),  GoodAI forum pages, Discord, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, 

      • Analyze number of positive and negative comments

      • Provide response within 24h to the most important comments (game crashes, bad performance etc.)  

      • Manage the community in the sense of keeping GoodAI strategic message clear to players

      • Manage administrators of the forums / channels > have regular (at least once per month) interlock with them and discuss open questions and concerns with them)

      • Provide analyses of current “mood in the community” and suggestions to improve how players see GoodAI to the leadership team

      • Actively participate in all external and internal communication activities, including video preparation, blog posts, social media posts etc.
