Software Engineers for GoodAI

GoodAI is looking for software engineers (architects and programmers) who will help develop Arnold Simulator, a software platform designed by the GoodAI team for the rapid prototyping of AI systems with highly dynamic neural network topologies.

The goal of the GoodAI R&D team is to build general artificial intelligence: a software program that can perceive, learn, and adapt to the environment in the same way that humans do. The Arnold Simulator software platform will provide tools for our research and development, and will allow us to effectively implement the growing general AI architectures we are focused on.

Arnold Simulator is designed for large, highly dynamic, heterogeneous and heterarchical networks of lightweight actors, and with a focus on concurrency, parallelism and low-latency messaging. Arnold’s core is platform-independent and it is being developed in C++ with the use of advanced 3rd-party parallelization libraries. Arnold Simulator includes a visual editor written in C# where developers can prototype and simulate architectures for artificial brains. We are developing an intuitive user interface to enable the easy visualization of growing AI architectures. Our software platform is being designed for high performance and scalability to large computer clusters.

GoodAI started in January 2014 and is now an international team of 20 researchers based in Prague, Czech Republic.

GoodAI is a long-term (10+ years) privately-funded R&D company with a $10M USD personal investment from Marek Rosa, CEO, CTO and founder. This project is NOT about video game bots, symbolic AI, image or speech recognition, etc. We aim to develop general intelligence.

Marek Rosa talks about GoodAI’s roadmap, achievements and plans:
