We’re excited to share the latest progress on a project our drones team has been developing. Alongside the Groundstation software, we’ve created a functional prototype of the GoodAI Dock.
What Is the GoodAI Dock?
The GoodAI Dock is a customizable charging station designed for automatic drone takeoff and landing. Our first prototype was built to accommodate a DJI Mini drone, but the dock is adjustable to fit various drone models. It is engineered to work seamlessly with the GoodAI Groundstation.
Key Features
Simple Control:
Controlling the dock is effortless. Pilots can connect to it using a QR code. Through an intuitive application, they can open and close the dock’s gates and raise the magnetic connector, which easily aligns with the drone.
Smart Design for Safe Landings:
The dock’s funnel-shaped design utilizes gravity to guide the drone in for a safe landing, even in windy conditions.
Lightweight and Portable:
Constructed from lightweight materials, the dock is easy to transport and reposition.
Customizable Appearance:
The dock’s visuals can be tailored to meet customer preferences.
Collaboration with Fly4Future
We’re also excited to share a bit about our collaboration with the Czech drone manufacturer Fly4Future. As mentioned, the GoodAI Dock is adaptable for different drone models. Together, we are working to optimize the dock’s size and features to suit RoboFly drones.
