The Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, hosted by the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union, took place on 13 December 2022. Held under the patronage of UNESCO, the forum was the first international ministerial meeting to convene after the adoption of the global recommendation on the ethics of AI a year ago.
Placing a spotlight on “ensuring inclusion in the AI world,” and assessing implementation of AI governance to date, the forum facilitated discussions and knowledge-sharing with speakers from around the world, including Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia.
Parallel sessions were devoted to exploring the state of AI from different angles — gender equality, environmental protection, ethical impact assessments and preparedness, transparency and non-discrimination.
GoodAI’s CEO, Marek Rosa, participated in an expert roundtable to discuss the impacts of the ethical impact assessment from a private sector perspective.
